The service

Envisioning Meet is a private meeting product for Envisioning. An authenticated Envisioning member hosts from the Mac or iPhone app. Guests join from a browser or the Mac or iPhone app. By joining a room you agree to use the service as offered for that meeting.

No recording

Meet does not record or store the audio, video, or screen share of a meeting. An admitted third-party notetaker may record what it receives; the room labels it and the owner can refuse it. Live captions and meeting notes are text derived on the hosting device; see Privacy for details.

Owner admission

Requesting to join places you in a waiting room. You are not in the media session until the owner admits you. The owner may admit, reject, or end the meeting at any time. If the host device goes offline, new admission can stop even while an existing call fails independently.

Expected behavior

• Use your real display name for the meeting.
• Do not disrupt the call, attempt to bypass admission, or misuse admission or media credentials.
• Do not share room links more widely than the host intends.
• Meeting notes may include finalized transcript text from the meeting.

Rooms and availability

Permanent rooms are mapped for specific Envisioning owners. Ad-hoc rooms may expire after about 24 hours (the join link). Meeting notes and related text artifacts may still be retained after a link expires. See Data retention.

Meet is provided as-is for Envisioning’s operational use. There is no warranty that a given room, ad-hoc link, caption quality, or notes delivery will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Local device storage

The web app may store your name and email in this browser’s local storage to prefill the join form. That is not advertising tracking. Clear site data in your browser to remove it.
