Help · How to
Connect a repository
Starlings reads GitHub through its own App, installed on the envisioning org. To set up the App itself, see docs/GITHUB_CONNECTOR.md.
- Open
/admin/connectors/github: Admin → Connectors → the GitHub card. Only an org admin can make changes. - Find the repository. Map it to the project.
- Press Sync now. The row shows
Synced · n pulls. - Open the project in Work. Issues and pull requests are on the Issues pane; New Issue creates an issue through the App.
Any member can also link a repository from Work, on the Mac or iPhone: Edit details on the project, then Repository, or Link GitHub repository… on the project's context menu. This link writes the same mapping. Starlings refuses a repository that is already linked to another subject.
A project shows the Issues pane only once a repository is linked.
To unmap, reverse the mapping on the same row.
Where it works
| Capability | macOS Host | macOS Join | Web | iOS / iPadOS | Agent access |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Issues that read like GitHub's own | Works | Works | Partial | Works | create_issue (MCP), /api/crm/issue |
